So I recently joined the spotlight community where people post their lists of what they'd like to accomplish before they die.  I have never made a list before but always wanted to.  I posted the list in the community but I thought I'd post it here too.

• Learn to love myself.
• Become independent from my family.
• Move in a place of my own and live there alone for at least 6 months.
• Graduate from college.
• Learn to cook.
• Post a adayinmylife entry documenting one of my days.
• Fall in love and be loved by that person in return.
• Get married to a man chosen for me by God, who shares my faith and passion for life.
• Read the 1001 books you must read before you die (10 down, 991 to go).
• See the Pacific Ocean.
• Go whale watching.
• Sleep in a “haunted” hotel.
• Road trip the lower 48 states (not necessarily all at once).
• Tour: France, the UK, Ireland, Greece, Israel, Italy, China, Japan, India, Indonesia, South America, and Australia.
• Experience mission life in Africa.
• Live in another country for 3 months at least once.
• Share a completely spontaneous and passionate kiss with someone I love.
• Sing karaoke.
• See NIN live.
• See Damien Rice live.
• Meet Donald Miller.
• Publish a short story.
• Publish a novel.
• Learn to do yoga.
• Write my autobiography.
• Get all the tattoos I currently have ideas for, and any that I come up with later.
• Make a positive mark in the life of a child.
• Learn Italian.
• Take dancing lessons.
• Learn to ride a bike.
• Tell my mother, father, and stepfather exactly what I think of them, my childhood, and my upbringing in as healthy of a way as possible.
• Act on a stage, even if it's a small one.
• Learn to play piano.
• Learn to play guitar.
• Write my own songs.
• Do something to make the world better every time I'm given the opportunity.
• Live without regret.
