Usually this is when I do the recap of 2008. But 2008 pretty much sucked. So I won't be doing this year. Let's just leave it at that.
This is usually also when I post my New Years resolutions. This year I'm doing something different. I joined a community that was spotlighted this week,
mission101_2009. It's where you set 101 goals to accomplish in 1001 days, which is approximately 2.75 years. So I guess these are my resolutions for the next 3 years.
1. Get my bachelors degree.
2. Decide on a plan for after graduation.
3. Learn to play guitar.
4. Road trip to the west coast.
5. Win Nanowrimo.
6. Finish the 50bookchallenge.
7. Publish 3 short stories.
8. Finish and edit and revise a novel.
9. Finish memoirs.
10. Reach 10% of the 1001 Books To Read Before You Die list.
11. Audition for a play.
12. Reach my goal weight of 130.
13. Practice yoga.
14. Travel overseas.
15. Become financially independent from my family.
16. Sleep in a haunted hotel.
17. Live in another country for at least 1 month.
18. Take a mission trip.
19. Get another tattoo.
20. Document one of my days for adayinmylife.
21. Read the entire bible.
22. See a Broadway show.
23. Sing karaoke.
24. Make and stick to a budget.
25. Get a sewing machine.
26. Learn to use said sewing machine.
27. Make a quilt.
28. Learn to knit.
29. Learn to crochet.
30. Give $1000 to those in need.
31. Volunteer 100 hours.
32. Finish my planner for the year.
33. Build a daily journaling habit.
34. Unpack from my most recent move.
35. Make that perfect road trip mix CD.
36. Drive Route 66.
37. Have a Hurricane at Pat O’briens.
38. Stop shopping at Walmart.
39. Participate in a charity walk.
40. Go to Cornerstone Music Festival.
41. Trace back my family history to pre-American Revolution.
42. Learn sign language.

44. Go to the movies by myself.
45. Stop drinking sodas.
46. Stop eating refined sugars and carbs.
47. Review all the movies I see in my LJ.

53. Ride a roller coaster.
54. Learn to cook my own Greek food.
55. Read Lord of the Rings.
56. Read the Chronicles of Narnia.
57. Re-read the Harry Potter series.
58. Read A Series of Unfortunate Events.
59. Sew an outfit of clothing.
60. Have a garden.
61. Track what I eat everyday.
62. Finish 2009 Reading List.
63. Walk everywhere that I can within distance that is safe.
64. Get and stay organized.
65. Bake myself muffins once a week.
66. Go to Voodoo Music Festival
67. Return to the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival with an all access pass.
68. Get my financial aid back.
69. Go to three concerts of bands I like.
70. Pass all my classes.
71. Make 3 new girlfriends.
72. Have a girls night dinner once a month.
73. Eat Indian food with Ben O. before the end of January.
74. Call out of town friends at least once a week.
75. Call my Dad once a week.
76. Call Grandma once a week.
77. Visit Grandma and Daddy once a month.
78. Dress up for Halloween.
79. Watch the entire Buffy the Vampire Series.
80. Watch the entire Lost Series.
81. Read the newspaper or check news online everyday.
82. Find a cool pen pal and actually keep up with them.
83. Get my cat fixed. L
84. Go to the dentist.
85. Try a totally new food every season (4 times a year).
86. Donate hair to Locks For Love.
87. Shave my head for St. Baldricks.
88. Find a job while in college that doesn’t completely stress me out and make me hate life.
89. Actually learn and retain Spanish.
90. Go to the movies once a month.
91. Learn how to use Adobe Photoshop.
92. Publish something in Relevant Magazine.
93. Go to S3 every week until I graduate.
94. See all of Tyler Perry’s plays.
95. See the remaining Harry Potter films on opening night.
96. Pay off old debts and student loans.
97. Get a cell phone with a monthly plan instead of prepaid.
98. Win ScriptFrenzy.
99. Get cardio exercise at least 3 times a week.
100. Start assignments on the day the are assigned.
101. Finish college with above a 3.5 GPA.
